About the organization
Healthy, educated communities where no child goes without medical care or schooling due to poverty.
Sahyog was founded in 2008 by a group of doctors and educators frustrated by the healthcare gap in low-income areas. What started as a weekly free clinic in a Pune slum has grown into a network of 8 health centers and 12 learning centers across Maharashtra.

Running 12 learning centers for children with learning disabilities, autism, and other special needs, with qualified special educators and therapists.
Operating 4 mobile medical units that visit 50 remote villages monthly, providing primary healthcare, diagnostic services, medicines, and specialist teleconsultation to underserved communities.

Completed program providing nutritional supplements, health monitoring, and counseling to 2,000 pregnant and lactating mothers in urban slum communities.

In partnership with a leading eye hospital, we organized a free cataract surgery camp that restored vision for 85 patients, mostly senior citizens from Below Poverty Line households who had been living with impaired vision for years due to inability to afford treatment.
Jan 2026
Our inclusive education program now supports 450 children with various disabilities across 6 special schools, providing individualized learning plans, therapy support, and vocational training for older students.
